BMPH3 Trail 1943 - The Malbec Run!

After dragging you all the way out to Buggenhout in April, I have chosen a locale closer to home, but hopefully that won't deter you from joining. This time we will hop over the ring to explore the fields and footpaths of Zellik!

Start:

Molenbos car park, in Zellik. The internet reliably tells me that this is a free and public car park.

Public Transport:

Public transport accessible. There is a regular De Lijn bus service—R14—leaving every 20 minutess from Brussels North station, passing metro stops Rogier, IJzer, Ribaucourt, and Simonis. Alight at Zellik Den Horinck, just 250m from the start.

Trail:

Yes. Walkers will be a bit longer than usual, so bring a beer with you in case you feel parched. I will offer short 3km walking trail for those who don’t want to tackle 7,8km. Runners, yes.  Shiggy, potentially.

Theme:

Malbec hash, Argentina v France, who does it better?

I’ll raid my wine supplies and bring a couple of bottles, or I’ll pop into Crush to see if Max has anything tastier if I get a chance. So if you want wine, bring a vessel!

Other:

BYOB, or buy something from the Carrefour / mini mart!
